The English Soccer School is so much more than ‘just a Soccer School’.

At ESS we pride ourselves on teaching our students skills which they can use both on and off the pitch.

Our Coaches are all English FA qualified and hold a wealth of experience of coaching worldwide and working with some of the top clubs in the UK such as Tottenham Hotspurs, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Celtic. ESS coaches have the knowledge and experience to plan and run sessions for any age group or ability, boys or girls.

Our coaches come are qualified as coaches under both the ESS program and The International Federation Association Coaches and Teachers from England and run their sessions in English. This gives our players a chance to further improve their grasp of the English language outside of an academic environment.

Most of the time the children won’t even realize just how much English they are picking up because all their energy is focused on having a good time, but we continually see noticeable improvements in our players during the weeks that we work with them.

However, the learning doesn’t stop there. We like to instil into our student’s skills and attributes which they can take out into the wider world and characteristics which will benefit them in later life.

Skills such as team-work, responsibility, communication and self-confidence all come as a result of playing team sports such as Soccer and at ESS we encourage our students to develop these ‘life skills’ just as much as we encourage passing, shooting and tackling.

Above all our coaches love to have a good time just as much as the children and sometimes even more! Our sessions, no matter what level, never lose the ‘fun’ aspect and at the end of the day it’s only a game! So if our students, 6 or 16, win or lose, have enjoyed themselves then we can feel a job well done!

We always welcome feedback from parents and students to let us know how we’re doing so if you have a comment or suggestion you would like to share with us please click here to go to our Contact Us page.
